Photoshoot Fridays – Chicago
Shooting the band Chicago was an amazing opportunity and a very rewarding experience. It was great to be so close to such a legendary group, with almost no shooting restrictions. For the majority of the shots I used my 70-200mm 2.8, which allowed me to get some great closeup shots of the band. The rotating stage, along with the constantly changing colored lights made for some challenges during the shoot, but all in all it was a fantastic time! Oh, and the music was pretty decent. ![]()

Bright Eyes
Last night I had the great pleasure of seeing Bright Eyes perform at The Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion in Gilford New Hampshire. It was a perfect evening for an outdoor concert, and Bright Eyes did not disappoint. The band ripped through 2 hours of material, spanning their entire discography. By the time they played their third encore “Road to Joy” the staff at Meadowbrook was unable to contain the crowd, who rushed to the front of the stage for a chance to be a little closer to the chaos, and maybe even touch frontman Conor Oberst. The band was gracious enough to allow me into the show with my 70-200mm lens, so I was able to grab some photos.
